Hello.

I’ve been working on new music. This music includes bits of electronic ambience, sort of bedding textures. I got quite involved with this, and decided to make a seperate piece of music using some of the sounds. There may be more like this if you like it. Give it a listen, and be patient, I know it’s long. So where the fuck is the music?

In short, dead.

I was working on the lyrics for a good few months and got next to nowhere, and I’ve fallen out of love with the songs. They leave me cold & I don’t think they convey what I wanted to get across with them. I also got a full time job for about a week, before it collapsed and put me on a bit of a downer, which is not an emotion I want in that music at all. So it’s dead. Or in stasis until I decide what to do with it all.

But.

I have new things. Much more band-orientated and lively. It started as a couple of chords, which has quickly evolved into 5 songs which are more or less finished arrangement-wise. The lyrics have come together incredibly fast, which is a novelty for me. When I finish with the arrangements I’ll record everything properly and polish it all up and make it sound nice. I really want to get this done soon, before it runs out of steam and fails. More soon.

Hello!

Hey everyone. Just in case anyone’s interested in what I’ve been doing, I have the music written for a new EP/Mini-Album, and I hope to get lyrics finished and recorded sooner rather than later. It’s quite the departure from Disasters, so I’m working on it under a different name, Juliette’s Downfall. I hope I can get it finished for Summer, which will fit the music rather well. It’s a lot more personal than Disasters, a lot has happened me since writing it and I feel a lot closer to what I’m writing about and how that translates into music.

All in all, I’m rather excited to get it finished and released into the wild!
